During the full-day visit on 01.02.2023. to Wakayama University in Japan, representatives of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of East Sarajevo, together with the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Japan Siniša Beryan, conducted a series of meetings with the Rector prof. Itoh Chihiro, vice-rectors prof. Takashi Eshita and prof. Adashi Motohiro, Dean of Prof. Takanori Nomura, as well as managers of various departments and laboratories of the Faculty of Systems Engineering. It was agreed to sign a cooperation agreement between the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in East Sarajevo and the Faculty of Systems Engineering of Vakayama University. The main activities within the agreement are exchanges of students and academic staff, joint participation in international projects and scientific conferences. Representatives of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering had the opportunity to visit modern and significant laboratory resources of the Faculty of Systems Engineering, in the field of mechatronics, optoelectronics, nanotechnology, chemical engineering, environmental protection and biology, and to exchange experiences with professors and students on the way of teaching, laboratory and scientific research work.
