
Representatives of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of East Sarajevo today handed over valuable laboratory equipment worth several thousand KM for practical performance The school is attended by students of computer and computer science .
Vice Dean for Science and Entrepreneurship Doc. Dr . Mladen Banjanin pointed out that the Faculty of Electrical Engineering currently participates in a large number of scientific and professional international projects.
In this way , the possibility of buying valuable laboratory equipment opens up, where after a certain period of time , surpluses appear, which we periodically donate to our high schools, all in the goal of affirming young people to engage in science, research and be part of our faculty , where they can acquire knowledge that is recognized at the world level- he said .
Banjanin explained that this valuable equipment will come in handy on informatics subjects and that they have been donated: low-voltage cable testers, equipment for their mounting and connectors, and connector quality testing. Wireless routers and internet switches on the basis of which students can create low-voltage signal communication networks. As part of the donation , the school is also presented with a collection of tasks from the C programming language , which are used by first-year students of the faculty , but also high school students who want to Gain advanced knowledge in this area.
According to the school's director Dejan Borovčanin , considering that for the fourth year the school has been conducting a generation of computer-informatics direction, this is a significant donation.
We have a promising direction in which one is always looking for a place more when enrolling. So we will come in handy in addition to other equipment and routers and switches from the most famous manufacturers that we will use in practical classes especially the subject of the operating system and computer networks . Milica Tešanović, a second-grade student of the Gymnasium , said that this equipment will mean a lot for further learning because most of it is reduced to practical classes. .
The aim of the project is to promote science and technology, as well as the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in East Sarajevo.
