The Faculty of Electrical Engineering  of the University  of  East  Sarajevo  donated    today  10  computers  for  equipping  the computer cabinet    in the Public Institution  High School  Center  "East  Ilidža".

The Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering    in  East  Sarajevo  , Božidar  Popović  , pointed out    that  he  hopes  that  today's donation  will    help  the teaching  staff,  but  also  students  to  acquire  new  knowledge.

We    will  continue  to make  donations in the future. We  will  donate  network  computer  equipment to the secondary  school  in  Sokolac, and  to the second  school,  which  we should    choose,  we will donate  textbooks  from  the C programming  language  ,"   Popovic  said.

 He  added  that he  hopes  that business  entities  will recognize  such actions and engage in the development  of the local community, and help students  to gain good knowledge that  will give them Help  them    cope  with  challenges  in  college.

  Branka Kovačević,  director of  the Public Institution  of the High School  Center  "Istočna  Ilidža",  said  that  she  is  glad  that  the Faculty of Electrical Engineering    listens  and  recognizes  the needs  of the school.

In the last  few  years  , they  have donated  it  equipment,  teaching  resources  and  textbooks to us.   Classes  will    now  be  conducted better,  because  all  teaching  subjects  require  the use of  IT  equipment  –      Kovacevic said.

  According to her  ,  this  beautiful  gesture  will be  an incentive  for students,  but  also  an example  that  state  institutions,  institutions  and  businessmen  should  follow.

Vice   Dean for  Teaching  at  the Faculty of Electrical Engineering    Assistant Professor  Dr  . Srđan  Lale  said    that this  school    has  educated  a large  number  of students,  who  are today  successful  electrical engineers  .

- In the past  period  , we  donated  textbooks  in  mathematics,  physics  and  programming,  as well as   laboratory-IT  equipment to  various  schools  in  the Republic  of Srpska.  We have    rewarded   the most successful  competitors  from  different  scientific  disciplines, and   we will  continue  to do  so –  he said. 

As he points out,  this  form  of help  and  support  is  very  important  because  it allows  students  to  acquire  knowledge  that  will  facilitate  their studies.  

     - We all    need  to  educate  quality  staff together,  so  we must  provide  them  with good  working  conditions and  the teaching    process.   We hope    that  students,  but  also  their  parents  will recognize  our  commitment  and  effort,  and  that  they will  try  to  stay  to  study  at  the University of East  Sarajevo   –   he  concluded.
