m:scholarships, a step towards employment

Anđela, Katarina and Ljubica former ETF students from East Sarajevo and m:scholarship holders found their place after college in the company m:tel

The company m:tel knows well how precious every young man who nowadays decides to study electrical engineering, so their effort to constantly invest in this value through support to the educational system and the development of new staff through internship programs and already well-known m:scholarships, is something that is recognized by both students and the entire community.

What is it that makes them different from the rest, so that they are a leader in the field of modern technologies, and for many years turn a futuristic vision of the future into reality? It is precisely investment in people - experts, new technologies and new knowledge.

This year, the 13th competition for m: scholarships was announced, a special form of support to students, in order to create the best possible conditions for learning and advancement in their education process. Not a small number of those who, after scholarships, internships and education, started their careers in this company.

A large number of former scholarship holders in m:tel every year come from ETF East Sarajevo, as did Anđela Andrijašević, Katarina Andrić and Ljubica Vukosavljević, who started their careers in this company.

"Guided by the fact that m:tel invested directly in my education for three years through the scholarship program, and that I had the opportunity to be a part of m:tel's internship program, it was clear that my professional development would also start from this company, and that I would invest my knowledge in the development of a company that gave me confidence through the financing of my education",  the words of Angela Andrijašević, engineer for management of service support processes in the Technical Directorate of the company m:tel. State-of-the-art platforms and state-of-the-art technologies with which it works, as well as collegiality, great interpersonal relationships and working atmosphere, and constant investment in the knowledge of employees were the reason to choose m:tel as his professional start and come to Banja Luka.

Katarina Andrić works as an engineer for database and application management in the Information Technology Function. The internship she did during the scholarship program helped her get acquainted with IoT solutions and LORAwan technology. The positive experience she had during her internship led her to m:tel where she started her career and where she is constantly improving as a young engineer. "I am currently attending online training Introduction to SQL language designed to work with databases and Database Administration, where I am introduced to databases. The ambience and business environment provide me with greater opportunities and opportunities to advance in my profession, while at the same time encouraging me to improve and deepen my knowledge in the field I am engaged in, i.e. Information technology," Andrić eva points out.

"I was an M:scholarship holder for two years. Like any student, the scholarship meant a lot to me and helped me. Having your own personal allowance every month, without having any obligation except to study is really nice", said Ljubica Vukosavljević about her experience during schooling. After graduating from university, Ljubica also started her career in m:telu as an engineer in the service for the exploitation and maintenance of control and switching systems of the mobile network. "To all electrical engineering students who see themselves in the field of telecommunications, I recommend applying for an M:scholarship. This year, the conditions for applying have changed, for the benefit of students, which is great. After that, a very useful practice awaits you, during which you have secured accommodation if you come from another city, but also a safe workplace, so you do not have to think much about what to do after graduating from college. There is also a mentoring program, a person who is there to guide you, to provide you with answers to all your questions, concerns, etc. I believe that this company can gain a lot of knowledge and experience and that this company can shape you into a highly qualified engineer", vukosavljevic's message to all students who are thinking about whether to apply for m:scholarships.
