On Stanford's list of 2% of the most cited scientists in the world in 2021, the professor of the Electrical Engineering Faculty of the University of East Sarajevo, Professor Mirjana Maksimović, has once again appeared.

The list includes a total of 11 researchers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, of which 2 from Republika Srpska, both from the University of East Sarajevo.

The list of 2% of the most cited scientists was created based on the analysis of data available in the SCOPUS database. Researchers are classified into 22 scientific fields and 176 scientific branches.
